The payment handed to the merchant is in the same format as payment data from a magnetic stripe card, called Track 1 format. This format is useful since all merchant payment gateways accept Track 1 format for payment, and the “tokenized” card number is used for properly routing payments to the issuing bank.

Unlike a regular card, where the Track 1 data never changes, every payment generated by the PocketKey is unique, and most of the fields in the payment token change for every payment.
