The encrypted PocketKey payment is provided in “ISO 7813 – Track 1” data format so it can be submitted using existing “card present” APIs from your payment gateway. This is the same format that is used for magnetic stripe cards and was chosen to simplify gateway and network compatibility.

Unlike a magnetic stripe card, the primary account number is replaced with a tokenized account number, and other fields are replaced with encrypted, transaction specific data.
